It is hard to have excellent tolerance when bending flat polycarbonate sheets, normally, the tolerance will be ±0.5mm for cold bend, but our engineer found a solution for this potential risk.

Solution One: we will manufacture the important sizes by using a five-axis CNC machine after bending processing;

Solution Two: Designing flexible mounting dimensions, for example, we will change circular holes to ring-shaped holes;

Solution Three: We will bend a polycarbonate part with a bigger size, then cut it to the right size.

Yes, the sample cost is more expensive than the cost in bulk order. Because we need to manufacture a new polycarbonate sheet for the sample only. Sometimes, we will use any material for it. Therefore, the sample cost is more expensive than the cost in bulk order.

For sample order, the following is our proposal:

  • Firstly, there are clear PE films on two sides of polycarbonate parts, we will keep it, which can protect it from scratch;
  • Secondly, we will wrap one more clear PE film and PE foam with 1.5mm to protect samples from colliding;
  • Thirdly, we will package all samples together and use the white foam panel with 15mm thickness, which can protect them from impact when delivering;
  • Fifthly, we will put all things into a carton, and use packing string;
  • Finally, we will use a clear PE film to close the carton, it will avoid water and humidity.

For bulk orders, we will choose the custom package according to quantity.
